Who are Striped Circle?

We are 'Striped Circle' - a superfast-growing family run business with a passion for making high quality music prints that make people smile.

Formed during those long lockdown months in early 2021, Striped Circle is headed up by Tim; a middle-aged bloke who, having spent the best part of 30 years in financial services and software delivery, decided that he wanted to do something a little more exciting, something a little more creative, and something to make him (and others) smile.

That's only a small part of the story though; the main reason for launching Striped Circle was to provide the two teenagers of the family, Sam and Jake (who were 15 & 13 at the time), with a business they could grab hold of, shape, develop and drive forward into a family business that we can all be proud of.

Let's be honest, nobody is kidding themselves that the lads wouldn't have been happy spending every available hour playing FIFA or GTA with their mates on the PS5, but Striped Circle has given them another focus.

Fast forward a few years and they are being creative, they are doing market research, they are learning about sales, marketing & customer service and they are learning that life is about hard graft.

They are still playing on the PS5 too, obviously, but they now have a business to build, lots of bills to pay and loads of customers to keep happy!

So, that's a bit about who we are and why we started - we hope our story makes you smile.

We all love our music, we all love creating things that make others smile and we work together to create unique and original artwork that reminds us of different bands, songs, gigs, parties and happy moments in time.

Why are we called 'Striped Circle'? Because the first ever logo we drafted ended up being a square full of spots and it looked rubbish... And, because one evening after a few beers we realised that a vinyl record was nothing more than a Striped Circle... (Don't drink kids, it's bad for you!)
